You run the truck. We bring the flatbed and building-material freight, and the shipper relationships that come with more than a century in business.
Bilbo Transports has been in transportation since 1915 and has contracted with independent owner operators for decades. You are running freight for a carrier with long-standing shipper relationships, not a broker chasing loads.
Flatbed and building-material freight is our core work, so dispatch understands what your day actually involves — job sites, mills, yards and material that has to arrive usable.
Steel and metal products, lumber and structural products, building materials, construction freight and general freight, hauling loads between the major metroplexes in Texas and the surrounding states.
Our owner operators average $2,000 to $3,000 net per week after expenses. Some drivers earn more, but everything is performance based, so we don't lead with our top earners' numbers or expect new drivers to start there.
Trucks and trailers 2000 or newer are preferred. All equipment must pass a detailed onboarding inspection at our Irving terminal during orientation.
We contract owner operators based in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico only. If your home base is in one of these states, we would like to hear from you.
